CAD Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Creating and maintaining CAD models and drawings (NX, catia) in co-operation with Product Engineers
• Participating in design improvement analysis
• Participating in technical design reviews
• Maintaining component library
• Data transferring for models and drawings
• Document, analyze and resolve design issues arising from testing, prototyping, pilot builds and production of assigned products or projects
• Co-operating with Project Engineers

Requirements and skills:

• BS or MS in Engineering (preferred in the field of mechanics) (R)
• Knowledge of 3D CAD software (R)
• Experience with the CAD system (preferred NX or Catia) (R)
• Experience in or emphasis during education in the design and analysis of mechanical parts in automotive applications (P)
• Good command of English (R)
• Good imagination of parts functioning in three dimensions based on sketches and drawings (R)
• Desire to work predominantly in CAD system to solve engineering problems (R)
• Good communication skills (R)
• Ability to work as part of a larger engineering team (R)
• Willing to travel as required (R)
